Just posting this to get rid of that Nag message for not posting in awhile. Just got a new GT mustang five speed so the 650l has been parked awhile. Still lurking on the forums once in awhile but the car has most of my attention now:thumbsup: Enjoy the riding weather.

I think the pig might be. Its cammed/jetted 58/165, and supertrapped. The GT pulls pretty hard though. Taking it to the track next week. Supposed to run mid to high 13's stock. Sure turns heads though. Got the Legend Green one with black racing stripes and Flowmasters. Sets the neighbors car alarm off every a.m.

I love doing that in my truck. I'm running 2-1/2 true duals with these:

My bike hasn't set any off yet. Hmm, disapointing.

I run the 3" Flowmasters on my 69 GTO. They set of alarms, scare little kids and piss off the neighbors

Thanks. Car runs 10.90's @ 125.00+. Its all steel, all Pontiac: 469 (455 + 60-over), race ported iron (#16) heads, H-beam rods, Ross pistons, Total Seal rings, Edelbrock Victor w/Holley 1050 HP Dominator. (No Nitrous) 8" Continental Converter (4400 stall), T400 Trans w/transbrake, 12-bolt rear w/4:10 gears, Strange spool & c-clip eliminators. It does have a 6 pt cage to be track legal, but otherwise, its still registered for street. and is street legal. Sheeesh, making my XR600 legal was harder!

Good choice. Fast and First On Race Day is better than slow and heavy like a Chevy.

Owner of '68 notchback and '84 SVO Mustangs myself.

Well I'm back. Was off work for two weeks n drove the hell out of that stang.Ran a 13.65 at 103 MPH. Boy was it fun, just jumped back on the pig and instant smiley action:ride: The car is fun but it will never replace the 650l. Very nice Goat Coolidge if I ever see that car in traffic I'm doin a U turn and running home to mommy:cry:

Dang, is that what the new GTs are capable of?

I might have to think a little harder about turbocharging my '68.
