About a week ago my dad, brother, and I went on a ride together at Durhamtown in Georgia. We were on a track back in the woods and the day before I had been hitting everything on the track and clearing it all but the very last day I got the biggest double on the track mixed up with another jump and did not hit it fast enough becasue i could not see the other side of the landing. When I landed I cased it horribly and felt the bike bottom out and, I kept my feet on the pegs did not go down, I felt my toes pretty much touch my shin that is the only way I can explain how my foot was compressed. I had on riding boots but it hurt like hell, I swore that I had broken my ankle but went to the doctor and they said that I broke the navicular bone in my foot and apparently it is very hard to break and takes the longest to heal. I was wondering if any of you guys have done this or something similar before and what was the pain level because honestly I have no pain what so ever and by the way im in a cast for three weeks and am going back to be re examined so any feedback would be nice. Thanks

That is exactly how I broke my Tib/Fib in my right leg, Got the jumps confused and didnt hit it fast enough and cased it, I stayed up and rode off to the side of the track and just layed the bike down and hobbled over to a bench

Ya the worst part about it is when your in the air trying to ready yourself because you know what's coming and know it's going to hurt like a mother when you do hit.

You must have been on MX 5, it has some nice doubles that you definitly do not want to get confused with the smaller ones. Sorry to hear you broke your foot, I am nursing two broken ribs and a broken right scapula. Tried to seat bounce a small triple and cased it.

Well turns out I didnt break my foot just had a badly sprained ankle, the reason the doctors said it was broken was because on the x ray there is a break in my foot but it is smoothed over so it is older. Now I have no idea when I broke my foot in the past but it was broken but the good news is my football season is not screwed because of a broken foot. Im currently rehabing my ankle.

Now you know why riders get their suspension re-valved. My last bike had the suspension done VERY early. All my mistakes were absorbed. My newest bike is running on stock suspenders. Last week I came up a little short, and blew rith through the stroke. (front & back) Needless to say, my forks and shock are on their way to factory connection right now !
