Lesson: See A specialist

So as i posted earlier, I broke 2 metatarsals.Well as it turns out it was 3. The original doctor I seen told me 2 and said that i would'nt need surgery.Well now that ive seen a podiatrist he shows me the 3rd met and the one met is displaced and the concern is that it will heel the way it is, which is on a 45 degree bend from the bone leaving huge bump in my foot causing other issues, now Im 10 days into healing.So surgery on thurs, pin ,screw whatevers best. So let me tell ya see a specialist..lesson learned ....:banghead:

Unfortunately even that needs to get taken one step deeper...

Here is my example:

We have one "specialist" that quotes me 8 weeks on crutches for my broken tib.

And we have another well known "specialist" here (caugh Dr. Mark) that has me walking in normal shoes in two weeks.

Anyone know how to learn a lot about a doctor instead of the hard way?

There has to be some kind of grading scale,But I dont know where...:excuseme:
