TT Ride '01 - Calgary

Recommended Posts

Yeah, yeah - I know it's premature but I'm throwing it out there anyway since it sounded like some of you Moab clowns are serious about going....

How 'bout we schedule the trip around 4th of July or Labor Day (9/3) so that we catch some standard US holidays as opposed to burning vacation for entire trip?

Cueball & Pumpkin - oops, Hoser #1 & Hoser #2 - which is a better time weather wise?

Definitely September! The weather is much more predictable in the Fall. Less chance of rain/snow, creeks are lower, everybody is in good riding form!

Any weekend is fine with us, we'll work the schedule of the group...

I figured that was comming... :D $20CAN is like a buck fifty in real money, Aye?

Actually, I look forward to seeing those shots - Now $50 green dollars, if you don't show my wife! ?

I'm certainly up for the Labor Day weekend. Another good reason for Sept is that the bugs have subsided by that time. We used to have a place in Canada and it was un-inhabitable until after July 4th.

...everybody is in good riding form!

OK, OK, I'll start working out now! Reason enough to cut the bars down start banging trees!

That's Pritchett Caynon. Where are the crack shots? I want to print them out and make a fan book out of them, creating my own movie of the now infamous missed gear jump. :D?:D

Dougie, '99 WR400 with a lot of dumb, stupid, here take my money, I have to have them but they don't make me a better rider extra mods.

(Except the dampner :D)

Fossils? Jake told me that he'd spotted a quarter on the trail.

Don't you run your own business? Isn't there something better you could be doing with your time than ruining the legacy of a guy in red pants? Remember that I wear the baggies not for nac nacs, but because a$$ won't fit in most MX pants :D

Actually, I don't even remember that one ?, there were so many. That shot must have been right before everyone else helped me lift the bike over it, right?

WOW! That video just loaded! HOW FRICKIN' COOL! Thanks Cue Ball! (I did notice that shot of my nut$ getting crushed :D Thanks for not highlighting it!)

I am not sure which was more fun, zipping ahead to get the stills,or hanging back with the helmet cam. All I know for sure is what a hoot the whole week end was.For Calgary next fall I might suggest RED PANTS (BIG JAKE) come up a couple days early and I can give him some trials riding lessons. I can be paid in whiskey. --easy EH
