Has anyone cracked a carb slide on a 2000 WR or has the new carby fixed this problem?
Its a wonder someone doesn't make a stronger after market slide and a stronger 4th gear.
Has anyone had gearbox problems on the 2000 WR. It sounds like the YZ426 are having a few go.

Hey Michael, I got this throttle slide problem with my 98 WR400
I have already change this the second time.
It is so expensive to replace one.
Wondering if I should get the WR250F.

Hey Henry, where are you buying your carb slide and for how much?

I just bought one at sudco (sudco.com) for 81.00.... My local dealer wanted 116.00 so I hope 81.00 is a good price.

As you know, there are several names for this piece. Funny though, I have only heard it called a carb slide on this forum.

Hi Scott, I think you got a good deal with sudco.
I got mine for S$150-160 depending on the Janpanese yen.
The actual name for this if I have not get it wrong should be " throttle slide plate".
:)
Seem like no one has a solution for this yet, even a 2000WR got this shitty problem.
