Has anyone noticed that when changing to YZ cam timing that the dots on the inlet side of the cam sprockets both align with the gaskett surface rather than the exhaust side on the exhaust cam and the inlet side on the inlet cam with standard WR timming. Or have I done something wrong. You should only move the exhaust cam 1 tooth clockwise and leave the inlet cam alone right?

You are correct. There is enough slop in the system to get the dots to line up as you have seen.
