Engine Ice users

Recommended Posts

I just started using Engine Ice last week and was wondering if anyone else had noticed any strange sounds coming from the radiators when using it. When I was at the track saturday and started the bike (it was warm), I thought I heard a gurgling like sound coming from the radiator. At the time I wasn't sure if I actually heard it or if it was just a sound from something else in the distance. But tonight I fired it up in the garage and I swear I heard it again..

Anyone else had this experience??

I use it and have never heard that before. I don't think it is because of the engine ice.

i think where he is going with that..... my gas cap was going out and not venting correctly and when I would lean on the bars or tank, to rest after riding it a while, i would hear a gurgling noise that I thought was the radiators, but was actually the gas cap not venting properly. It was really wierd. lean on the bars or tank, it would gurgle, sit back up and it would quit. Has not done that since I changed gas caps. It would only do that after riding a little while as in not cold.

problem fixed!

I took my cap off, took the 3 screws holding the vent mechanism on, off. Cleaned it out and blew in it. Put it back together, and no more noise. ?

I assume your meaning the Gas cap? Mine was puking fuel out of the vent hose and onto my front fender all the time...and I did the same as you just said you did. Hopefully it keeps gas off the fender!
