Just check your measurements. The only real issue is the bearings. Depending on the axle size of the two different bikes you might need to change bearings to make sure it fits both the hub and the new axle but any bearing shop (Moore, Chicago Rawhide ect.) can match that for you and the cost should be fairly minor if you do infact need to change bearings.
