depends what kind a terrain you are riding and what brand of tire u want, if u ride in sand most of the time u want a soft tire, if u ride in rocky soil you want a hard tire

You have not been very good with your description. As you are new here allow me to give you a few pointers. If you ask a question you need to provide as much information as possible. Make model year of bike is always a good start. If you want help with tyre choices you need to tell us what kind of ground you ride on. Basically help us to help you

Now given the very limited info you have provided i would suggest a Michelin S12 they are great for soft ground and in my view nothing comes close to them. If the ground you ride is intermediate/hard then i would go with another Michelin but the M12

Pirelli Scorpion Pro for the front.......Pirelli MT-16 for the rear.

I've never found a better combo for varied terrain. I ride both track and trails, and this combo works great in just about everything.

Previous to this combo, I've used Dunlop's, and Maxxis tires, but after reading numerous recommendations from people here on TT, I'm extremely happy with the Pirelli combo. I ride pure dirt, sand/dirt mixture, Hardpack, Coal and shale, along with rocky terrain, and the Dunlop's and Maxxis's, pale in comparison.

Funny you say that because after one ride with a Pirelli Scorpion i took it straight off and put an S12 on the front. I thought the pirelli was hopeless. I don't mean to say you are wrong and i am right, it's just funny how different tyres work for different people.

Now if you need oil advice i know the brand that no other can come close to and if anyone else says different tell them they are wrong :busted:
