Anyone know anything about TRICK racing fuel? I found a station near where I work that sells it out of a pump. I don't know anyone who's used it and would like to hear from anyone who knows anything about this.

Several years ago I used to run it. If it is coming out of a pump then that usually means that it is formulated to be legal for road use. It is not the same as the race gas in the can. It worked for me though and eliminated my pinging problems. I only needed a couple of extra octane points and so I mixed it 50/50 with normal premium.

Used to use TRICK racing fuel back in the 80's when I was road racing my Ducati F1B. The stuff worked very well.

So if you add the stuff in a can to your pump gas it won't be the same thing?

You are correct...it would now be a blend of fuels. It certainly won't hurt though!

It works! I mix 3 gallons of Sunoco 110 low lead with 2 gallons of Phillips 93 no lead pump gas for my flattrack bikes. Gives me 103 octane, or there abouts. It does a fine job with 12.5 to 1 pistons. The 110 race gas costs $7 a gallon, so the mix helps me save a few bucks, and I don't need the full 110 octane.

For upper lube, I toss in 3 ounces of Marvel Mystery oil, just for good measure.
