A friend of mine who just started to ride bikes showed up at my door with his new GS400T. Looked at it for a while 5-10 min. Talking about it and riding in the mean time. Couldn't wait any longer. " Can I take er out for a ride?" "OK" GIDDY UP!

Well to be honest it's not new - it's an 82'. What an absolute BLAST! It had no power compared to my DRZ400SM, what I wanted to compare it to, but what fun!

It reminded me of my first streetbike: an RZ350. That feeling of the first time I rode that bike. I didn't want to get off. I remembered that feeling I had every time I got on that bike. My RZ. Then the next mile or so when I pushed it a bit and then lo and behold the memories of my VERY FIRST BIKE A CR80. All I can say is WOW!

That little outdated 400 reminded me of exactly the reason I got RIGHT INTO this sport:That feeling! This is the reason I have posted this. It's not about the bling or the zing - It's about that feeling!!!!!
