The Motomaster brand that is Canadian Tires own motorcycle oil, does anyone know who makes it for Can Tire???
I know most places have a major company make products for them, and then just relabel it, I wonder if this is the case here as well.

Thanks

I'm not sure, I just finished working for Crappy Tire for about 3 months. Either way, I've found that most of the motomaster stuff is just as good as other comparable stuff. Their air filters are identical to frams, Oil filters are all the same, Their Formula 1 oil is just like the other "base" oils. I'm not talking the cheap Nugold and Autolab "super economy oil" though.

I can't say whether I would trust motorcycle oil with Motomaster label on it in my bike though. I feel better putting good stuff it... but if it's labelled JASO MA or MB whichever it is, she should work fine.

I was riding with a couple other guys today, and we stopped at a third guys house, who had just finished an oil change on his bike.
He had the Motomaster oil bottles still laying there, and the one guy nearly freaked out that he used Crappy tire oil...I asked why he cared, as I was sure it was made by some major oil label anyways...so after looking at several oil sites, I have come no closer to finding out who makes it, so thought why not ask this knowledgeable group.

I myself have found that Motomaster stuff is decent quality in the past, but cannot say I have used their oils, I just use Valvoline myself.

Personally, I can't justify cheaping out on oil. I feel if I buy the dirt cheap brand, I'm getting a lot of impurities with not enough protection and so on.
