Have you ever taken your XR650L out for a ride after not have been on it for a couple of weeks and upon return said to yourself, man I love that bike!

I was riding my dad's BMW K1200 gt with 160 HP all week.

I came back and rode my 650l, and it was so fun, (although an inferior bike in every way..) I felt like I was doing something illegal riding it through town.

I love my "l" it is slow, and uncomfortable, but there is somthing intangible to it.

people laugh at me for having both extremes (BMW r1150r rockster and 650L) but I love the 650L just as much, if not more!

I do BUT i felt bad yesterday, even talking to my bike in the garage(im a dork LOL) but i had to put her over on the other side of the garage cuz i put a sportbike in her old parking spot. I love my L BUT.... it is not a good freeway commuter for me up here in the high desert when you can have 25mph headwinds. Its kinda hard to try and stay going 75 and be comfortable so i tuck down alot but the single cylinder still works hard in those conditions. Not getting rid of it SO DONT ASK anyone LOL

06 honda (of course) CBR600RR with 2000 miles for $5500 im the master of getting stellar deals my 03xrl was $2600 LOL i got the best of both worlds for the street now. That thing HAULSSS ASSSS 15K RPM and it doesnt even start to hit till about 8k LOL gotta be careful

nice! i just bought a 07 shadow 750 for my wife. she saw all the fun i have on my honda and she wanted a honda, but shes short so we got that and she loves it!

Yup, and I'll probably like it even more now that I put a new Maxxis Cross IT on the rear to replace the bald one that was on it. The bike might feel underpowered now, though. ?
