I managed t bend my headpipe today in a tipover. Kind of weird as it kinked on the backside of he pipe. Anyway i did not even notice it until i left. I would rather wait to see if i can run the exhaust from the 08 with the short slip on than buy somethng now. Am i going to screw anything up riding until then?

As far as hurting anything no......As long as the pipe is not almost completely closed off. You can do a little trick I have herd some people doing,I have never had to try it and hope I dont have to,but you can take the header off and fill it with water and freeze it in the freezer. The water turns to ice and expands and pop the dent out.

This works perfectly. As long as you don't have a big huge crease. It also continues to work if done miltuple times if all of the dent doesn't come out first try. Give it a shot....it's worth it.
