I've had the Baja designs on for around 4 years also with no major issues. Light switch / kill switch ground out on me once due to corrosion after sitting all winter in storage. I had to clean the contacts than good as new. The tail / brake light also kept blowing due to vibration off road. Replaced the bulb with an LED one and been in there for 2 years now with out blowing. I don't think that's too bad for abuse it has taken so far. What's wrong with your Dakar?

You must be awfully hard on that bike! I've had 3 BD kits on different bikes and never a problem with any other than taillight bulbs blowing from the vibration. (can't blame that one on them)

That is my Dakar Kit, not BAJA

And trust me, I am very easy on the bike, it is 95% to 98% street riding and no more than 65mph

I just got a bad kit

I mean, the circuit board went on me in the rain

And Yes it was all hooked up properly

I am hoping one on these other kits mentioned by all of you and all your experience will help me decide on a new kit

The BAJA is looking good, but so are the other

I am calling all the others now
