I have a few noobie questions...

What exactly is the purpose of the smog kit on the 650L?......and how does it work?

Why does performance improve when its removed?

I read about the carb adjustments on Daves mods....why does it improve things?

In Texas motor vehicles require a State examination every year...will the removal of the smog kit and carb enhancments cause any inspection problems?

Will such a removal and adustment void any warranty with Honda?

Thanks.

Janner.

if the inspector knows what to look for then he will notice the missing smog device. the mods to the carb will make it run better, although it will cause a problem with CO levels. better look into exactly what your state looks for during the "test".
