Looks like I'm bringing my son and his buddy over for the Amateur Days the end of July. We will be in the area on Tues the 24th and racing on Thursday the 26th & Friday the 27th.

I'm riding the 125 in the Women's Class on Thursday was thinking about bringing my 500 along if there's a chance of hitting any nearby trails on Wednesday or maybe even Saturday. Are there any trails around there? I'll have my truck so I can haul the bike to a riding area. Anyone wanna ride Wednesday or maybe even Saturday?

I am bringing my streetbike (thank goodness for enclosed trailers) for heading into town for supplies and a streetride if I can't hook up with any locals for a trailride, I'll just take a nice streetbike tour.

I might be headed down for the weekend Lori. If so we will be staying with friends less than a mile from the track. I used to live in the area and can show you the area if everything works out.

Me & my boy might be able to join you. Although we've never ridden there. How old are your boys? Steven will be almost 15 about then.

I could throw the grill in the back of the truck too.

Cool, we can chat this weekend at the LPO Ride Ryan.

Thanks for the offer Toast, I'm not familiar with the area either, I've only been there for the races but figure that if I'm coming over for most of the week this time I may as well get some riding in, besides the race on Thursday.

My son is 14 and his buddy that will be with us is 13 yo but he doesn't ride trails, track only. My son rides trails but he probably won't want to ride since he's concentrating on the race. We'll see, he might join us if I let him take the 125 instead of his 250F.

I'll see if I can get more info on where the trails are and maybe even some maps and post back what I find out Toast.

I was counting on you Kristi! I'll figure out if I can bring the 5hunny too or not and we'll get it figured out.

A little trailriding, a little MX racing, a little streetriding and some National MX spectating, what else could a girl want for a weekend?

I'll firm it all up in the next week or so with our ETA and what I'm bringing along and let you know!

The Jones creek area is just north of the track. You can find out about the trails at the Jones Creek Trailriders Association website. The club will also be at the track, flagging the race I think. Also they will have a trailer and info.
