During Memorial weekend while heading to Wenatchee, saw 3 trucks with bikes turn toward the town of Liberty off Hwy 97.

I know that this area can be accessed from Green Dots, Grouse mtn area, but not sure how to access it from Hwy 97 area. I will double check all my DNR maps tonight but any input would be great such as FS road numbers or etc...

Turn up the Iron Creek road to access a decent small trail system. It's on the left, several miles past the road that goes to the Liberty Townsite.

From what it looks like on the cle elum forest site showing W riding areas, I can access all the way to Table Mtn area, grouse springs and beyond heading towards Wenatchee Mtn, where OMT takes his "customers" for the view/lookout.

Will cross reference the road that you mentioned to see if that is the one and same.

Table mountain has a seasonal closure on some if not all of the single track trails

Yes, I believe that is from Oct. 15 to June 1 from the signs that I observed on a ride last fall with Old Man time coming in from Grouse Springs area.

Whether it is completely snow free, that I do not know.

I know 9712 runs past Haney Meadows/ Horse camp. Also called Liberty-Beehive. There is another road about 3 miles North of Liberty that also heads in there.

You looking for a place to stage?

ARRRGGHHH...ok, looks like we are going to Taneum instead. Is it only Table Mtn. that is closed or the area that feeds out of Liberty?

Staging area is basically what I am looking for as well as connecting trails to get into Table Mtn.

Try this link. Unless they change it yearly it is June 15th. I will try to find my material on the closures. There are 50 miles of single track and 100 miles of 4x4 roads.
