Looking to get some street tires for my TE570 dualsported monster and my ride bros tell me DRZ guys rip Trailwings off a lot (because they are call deathwings in the dirt) and there might be good take offs around. Anyone got some they want to sell? Cheap ass, i know. Just looking for something to make the bike smooth as i use it as a street bike.

Yeah you can have mine. Not too many miles on them.

Once "Ride" gets what he's looking for, I'm looking for a set of Trailwings as well. I'm in the Seattle-Tacoma area. PM me.

Thanks,
Scott

120/90-18 and 80/100-21 You're welcome to mine since I'm too far away to give them to the other guys. I should be out your way soon. I got to warn you that my Nephew bowed out of the second half of last weeks ride because those tires sucked in that terrain.

Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, my wife just received her letter notifying her she was accepted to the University of Washington. We will be moving over to the West side in August or September and I was looking at those tires for commuting rubber once we get over. The price is definitely right!

I will have to check to see for sure what size my front tire is but the rear is a 17 so that one will not fit for sure. I will take a look when I go out to the garage this evening.

Thanks much,
MasterMarine

Congrats to the wife but you poor guy you will be moving right into the belly of the beast. OHV users are way out numbered by OHV haters over here. Just yesterday I had a lady in a minivan full of kids make a motion with her hand like she was going to shoot me. Makes me wonder if she would run a bike off the road givin the chance:confused:

Thanks for the Congrats. She definitely deserves them. I like the "belly of the beast" remark. We are probably going to live up somewhere near Everett and I will be transferring to work in the shop there. I do not want to move there but you do what you have to. I like the rural landscape better.

Anyway, back to the thread. The book says the front tire was a 90/90-21 when it was sporting its stock "Trailwing". Do you think your old front would work? I suppose it probably would. I will send you a PM with my contact info. Let me know when you are coming over to the rocks :ride: and I will get over there to meet you.

Hey Everett is close enough to get in on some rides with our club. Darren comes up from lake Stevens. I also know another group of Dual sporters that hail from the Everett and Lynwood areas.

Yeah I'm sure mine would work.

Free tires hmm. I have given my share of used tires to friends in need but I like this idea of Trail Death Wings off of a DRZ400S. When I purchased my DRZ400S the owner had already put Dunlop 606's on it. The rear was pretty worn and so I just replaced it. I always thought of Dunlop 606's as indestructible cause I always used them off road. I have been riding around on pavement with my DRZ and my new Dunlop 606 rear is showing some serious wear. I have decided if I am going to be doing much road riding I need to pick up a pair of these Death Wings. Hint Hint :ride:

Nick I think I know where a few sets are. I'll bring you some next time I'm over. It's the least I can do for you putting up with a hotel full "Coasties" Thanks againg for the guided tour.
