Did a fun ride today up in the LPNF.  Brian, Scott, and myself did a 50 mile forest loop.  We tried to hit the Snowy trail but it was closed.  The weather once again was great and the trails were fun.  Here is a link to the pics.

Well we hit Tejon, Long Dave,  Lockwood Valley, and Miller Jeep. In that order i believe. I was having nightmares about hitting Miller again since last time i was on my CR 250 and it was way rich with too tall of gearing. I think it took like 2 hours to get up last time. Well this time was much easier on the 450x. We got up miller in about 25 min this time. It was a really fun loop, too bad we did not get a chance to check out Snowy, oh well maybe next time. Here are some pics.

Fantastic pics Scott!!  You got a good eye.  Hopefully Snowy will be open next time.  Man I look like a squid when I ride.  Cool shots I really like the Piru creek shots.

Good set Skoot, glad you 3 kicked Millers Ass ! Sweet shots of Boulder Alley, and i think theres a rather large formation at the top of that Alley that needs to be hit just right, to the left, with a step, then an immediate line-up for the next off-camber switch to the right ? F'n Nasty !

Thanks for sharing!  Those are some of the best sequence pictures i've seen, and the terrain looks gnarly for sure!

It was definately alot easier on the 450X. Still a Pain in the butt, but that is what makes it fun. That is a nice loop, I can't wait to get up there again.

Thanks Again for the ride and all the pics.

I agree completely nice sequence of pictures. Sure makes me wish that I had taken the day off and joined in on the fun. I've never ridden in the LPNF and as I look at these posts it seems pretty obvious to me that I'm missing out on some great stuff.

Wow, great shots guys! I tried to find Miller Jeep Trail last weekend but ended up on Yellowjacket instead. Judging by those pictures it’s a good thing too

Great pictures guys, I can't wait to get up there. It was looking a little brown up there unfortunately but the green will be back soon enough.

Skoot, it's always great to get a nice shot of one of your compadres taking a spill isn't it? Priceless! :)

I'd like to do a ride down there next week one day during the week. Preferrably earlier in the week if anyone else can get a day free.
