I was curious what this is and how it works? When I shut off the bike today it pushed a little coolant out of the radiator overflow and also there was a little coming from the side of the cylinder. Appears to be a small coolant weep hole or something.

Just wondering if this was something I need to address other than the standard switch to distilled water and engine ice.

Thanks!

Isn't there a spark plug hole drain on the side of the cylinder, and the rad overflow does spit out a little coolant if you shut it off while it is hot.

I would check to see if your overflow hose has a hole in it from getting too close to the exhaust.......if you truly have coolant on the side of your cylinder and it's not from the overflow hose, we have to search for a bigger problem....the tiny hole on the side of the cylinder is the spark plug cavity drain hole, so moisture can exit the plug area.

Do a little investigating and see what you find.

You're suppossed to use Engine Ice by itself, without diluting it with Distilled water or anything else.
