How are the trails for intermediate trail riders in upper nestucca ohv? Also looking to camp, is there camping with any bathrooms close? I ve heard nice things about this area away from TSF. Thanks Tink.:ride: :ride:

There are no bathrooms so bringing a shovel is a good idea.:applause:

I think they are talking about the Grassy Flats area. We don't ride there but it is supposed to be easier terrain although you can't get all the way to the Trask from there ??

All that Upper Nestucca area has pretty much became a quad riders dream. The trails are basically mini gravel roads or least not single track anymore. Pretty much no challenge and thats right, you can't get to Trask area from there.

Who said you can't get from Upper Nestucca to the Trask? And you say there's no single track, little do you know. Is it still single track if it was made with a quad? No feelings were meant to be hurt, bruised, damaged with this reply.

:D :D :D :applause: :applause: :ride: :ride:

If the trail is almost invisible because some guys ride with a trials tire and don't spin their wheels is it still a single track? :excuseme:

The trails are great for intermediate riders.

I took my girls up Saturday to Elk Flats and ours was the only rig there all day. The 8 and 10 year-olds motored their XRs (70 and 80) all the way to skidder flats and back riding without incident. 18.5 miles with only the required road transfers. They rode Warner's Link, Special Test Tie,Troop 97, Bad Breath, Engineer, Dumpling, a couple whose names escape me...Oh, and lest I forget...they climbed Brad and Keith's Trail from the bottom to above the paved road. They ROCK for riding only 2 years.

BTW, my 8 yr-old asked if she could have a trials tire too. Looks like she wants in with me and the ForestGrumpy OldXl men.

YES! it would be a single trials track? Hey Old XL, he called you a Grumpy Old XL Man. Man, it's a good thing nobody ever called me Grumpy.

Not real sure where your riding, but I have a 45mile loop that I run where quads would NEVER make it on. If anyone cares to call my bluff (like my buddies and there 4x4 quads did) I would be happy to bring a camera along and watch you destroy your quads trying.

They are talking about Nestucka OHV, which is Grassy Flats, Elk Flats and so on. We are riding what is considered Tillamook OHV / Trask area. And soon I hope.:ride:
