hey guys im new to thumper talk. I have a 2004 YZ 450 F and i was wondering what was the best exhaust for this bike. i ride trails and i also do a little riding on the track.

Welcome to TT. A good all around pipe is an FMF Q2. Its quiet enough to help keep riding areas open and it will also enhance the mid-range to upper RPM power.

I've heard good things about the Dr. D pipe, not sure on the Db level tho

I recommend the Dr. D , It definately helps broaden the powerband, especially the lower-end for trail riding. I believe it is either 1/2 or 1 full dB lower in noise than stock for the 03-05 models. I have an 04' also.
