Has anyone been to Crazy Acres MX Track? It’s located off of HWY 47 towards Vernonia. I know nothing about it and was looking for info.

Went there today. More of a beginner friendly track, so it was great for us. Smaller jumps, and it shoots up up into the trees twice. We had a great time.

A bunch of us went there last weekend. It is nice track. Kid freindly, and couple of nice table tops, and a set of 4 whoops that can and did break an ASV clutch lever. Yhere are a few pics from there on another thread. I will see if I can find them and post them up.

How do you get there, is there any contact info, and is it open tomorrow?
Posted 23 August 2008 - 05:51 PM
he is closed on Sundays, but you take 26 west past the highway 6 on ramp, then take 47 North towards Vernonia, go 1.1 miles and it's on the right hand side, you'll see a gate, inside is a bucket to drop in your money and signed waiver. The phone number is 503-680-0741 it's a good idea to call before you haul.
You looking to ride tomorrow? I'm gunna hit up Lyda camp in the a.m. wanna come?

Here's my compilation of some people riding the track.
And here's a video of me riding the track very slowly with a camcorder balanced on my bar pad. Warning, not for those who get motion sickness. :)

I'll bet I know what site that was. ;)
It's funny, when I saw your reply I thought... where DID I get it from?
I had Googled Crazy Acres and it came back with the thread from Supermoto junkie and then completely forgotten... Google just keeps getting better and better, and makes me lazier and lazier.
If it's open this weekend and the weather holds, I'll be there with wife in tow.
If anybody else is going, I'm new to dirt riding and could use some tips.

TJRace and his kid love to go there. You could check with him. A bunch of us from the PDX area will be in Bend this weekend, so the crowd I normally ride with is pretty much all out.

We were there yesterday, for a private kid's birthday party. It was dry...
Trackmaster... you might have a little work to do on these berms.. hahaha
I was only on the 50 so I was getting into them pretty good...

Here's a couple shots of the little dude, you can see some more of the track in these too...

Looks like with about 4 big bikes that place would be a dust bowl.

It's not too bad. The days I've been out there it was pretty well watered. They do a good job.

Yeah, the owner had given us the keys for the watertruck...
but, since we only had one full-size bike there, we didn't water at all.
We had ridden out there a couple weeks back with a bunch of guys, on that Saturday I think we hit a hundred degrees and it had been hot all week long... dust was not an issue at all and they watered it down during the few hours we were there

It topped out at 106 that day, according to the thermometer in my truck. It was brutal. I would say that the mud in the corners from watering was a bigger problem than the dust that day.
