What to buy? WR400/426 YZ400/426

I'm looking at buying a older Yamaha WR400, but would like to hear what others think. Would I be better off with a WR or a YZ? Would I be better off with a 400 or a 426? I dont ride enough to justify spending $6800 for a new bike. I rode a YZ400 years ago when it was brand new and I loved it. I'm selling a 2001 DRZ400S, so anything else should be much lighter. I was happy with the Suzuki, just didn't like the weight. Thanks for your help.
