Magnetic Drain Plug - the Next Bulk Buy?

I use the Yamaha one... it seems rather a weak magnet... I think the best one would have a Neodynium (sp?) magnet - the stuff would be pulled from the oil, not just if it passed withing a couple of mm of the plug... I appreciate the usefulness of these things, so maybe this is the next bulk buy - nearly as small as a t-handle, and just as useful... What do you guys think? (those without them already that is...)

It seems as though the Zip-Ty one is the bee's knees... So who knows Ty Davis? :)

Click Here to see what you will be getting...

I think the best solution at the moment is to pre-arrange a TT discount, then we can each purchase our own... I realise that it is a lot of work for one person to volunteer for...

David

No, NO, NO I need Chain and sprockets badly, mine are shot. :) I have the Ty Davis one and it is incredible. IMO every bike should come with one. Now lets get back to the chain and sprockets and where to get them since Krause has signed his own death warrant.

I would buy a good quality magnetic plug too. I live near Guy* and know a couple of other members so we could share the cost of posting it across the water.

*although we have never met...this would inspire me to make contact.

There you go Fella's, see what you can do.

I really don't have the time to do this. :D

:D Sorry!! :D

If nothing else, e-mail Ty and see if he'll give TT'ers a 10, 15, 20 % discount.

-OR-

E-mail Bryan Bosch asking for some input on this. In fact, you :) SHOULD :D e-mail Bry REGARDLESS!!

Did anything ever come of this?
Afaid I am the wrong side of the water to negotiate with Ty Davis, but I would join in the buying power of TT.
