Jet Coating???

Has anyone thought of using a "Jet coating" on there headpipe?,being that the headpipe glows red:eek: ,and the heat that it throws off must be

considerable,going up the radiator and on the radiator hose's??..,other then

wrapping the headpipe with an insulator(which is not a good idea when wet)

I was considering this alternative,any thoughts about this?

IMO, it's a non-issue on a open engined, water cooled vehicle.
