Tool bag on front fender - OK to do?

I've seen a few XRLs set up that way, but I'm wondering if it would cut off any important air flow, since there seems to be some venting under the headlight and something mounted on a heat sink back there too.

I have mine set up that way in order to mount a rack behind the saddle using the bracket. So far no problems.
