Lessons learned greasing the 07

Yep, definitely - good time of year to knock it out, too.

One additional lesson learned:

Has anyone ever though of drilling these out and adding grease zerks where possible? Perhaps I am oversimplifying, but why wouldn't it be possible (yes, I know your going to let me have it now...give it to me good!)

I had a 2003 DR z 400e before my 07 Wr450f and it had grease zerts that I faithfully greased and when i decided to open it all up and confirm they were working I was quite surprised to find the tolerances on these bolts/joints were so tight they did not allow grease in where it needed to be so I cleaned it all up and applied good marine/water resistant grease to all required areas. i think it had a total of 7 or 8 grease nipples too???? take it apart and grease it!
