I have had my TM for almost a year now (2001 250 MX 2T). What I was wondering is if everybody who has knowledge about TM's could post any cross over parts they know of. I have the Paioli forks and when I blew my fork seals while out riding we were able to replace the seals and bushings with stock honda parts. Any other stuff would be greatly appreciated. I would like to mostly stuff like plastic, seat, brake pads, air filters, levers etc.

Thanks a million guys

So here is a few parts to add to the list.

Kickstart lever....2003 Honda CR 250 fits great. Washer needed to be replaced. (I snapped mine with a little half kick)

Mud flap.....2003 Honda CR 250 is an exact match

Some others already posted

Fenders off KX 250 will fit coressponding year
Water pump gasket is a Honda part

Pretty sure you can use Honda Brake pads on the rear

Keep posting I am hoping I can cross reference most or all of my bikes breakable parts (stuff you tear up while riding) It would be nice to bring some spares that aren't worth $500 - $600.

2001 125 MX: the cast part of the swingarm is virtually identical to that on an early nineties CR500. The linkage parts are identical and will swap over.

The silencer or spark arrestor for a 1999-2007 125 is the same as a Kawasaki KX 125, 1996-1998. I have used both FMF and Pro Circuit with success.
.

That's useful to know. I need to find a much quieter silencer for my 2001 125 MX, to meet decibel (noise) regulations, to race in hare and hounds. Any recommendations for a quiet silencer which would fit? The TM enduro silencer is very expensive (sterling£203 + tax. Well over USD$300 , I think). There is no market for quiet MX silencers/ spark arrestors in the UK, so I am not familiar with what is available.

Comment: Despite the horror stories about wildly expensive TM parts, I found the engine parts to be very reasonably priced, and the customer service from TM UK is excellent. Just my 2 cents.

Pro Circuit has them (spark arrestors) in stock around $150.

Reliable source claims a 125 CR Honda filter will fit my 97 125 TM
Also a 97 KX seat will fit this bike.
Thanks and keep this info building!
