has anybody changed there plastics?

has anybody ever welded on new brackets for newer better looking plastics on the rear of there xr600 ??? (side panels and rear fender)

i am going to attempt to fit 04 crf plastics

i am also going to make the back of the seat more better looking.

I put a crf rear fender on mine and cut the side panels, as well as shaving the back edge of the seat, my pic is on the overhaulin thread.

I may try later model XR400R plates on mine, I'd like to see how it looks.

check out my bike i put 05 CR plastics on mine no welding needed just some trimming of the plastics and drilling new holes
