Thanks.

And you guys are all doing pretty good yourself.

BFLee, Dont worry. I did the same thing, but then jumped right back on after it was over. We have to cheat every now and then to maintain sanity. :D

All I can say is Burger King, McDonalds, Hardees or any of those fast food monopolys will never see a dollar from me. I used to eat at these places when my friends forced me to but I never cared to much for them to begin with.

After checking their nutritional facts on their websites, if your pushing that crap down your throat, well, lets just say its a slow death. ?

The good news is his wife has brought him new ridding boots,,,,, the bad news is the are 'GI joe' boots from the local toy store.

sadly lewischris can no longer respond to this thread, as he has lost so much wieght, and was last seen using a sewing needle as a large sword against a huge spider,,,and quite frankly the guy was fighting for his life!

This is a great topic. Most of us mid 30's to 40's trying to get back into high school pants (our own not some sophmores) I was up to 226 and now down to 209 since Jan 2nd. (Jan 1 is no day to start, too much football, beer and popcorn). I am doing the tried and true "weight watchers" My wife lost 45 lbs on this diet and is down to her H.S. weight. The point system works great. I lost 2-3 lbs a week, no problem, and I don't get hungry. Thats with cheating at least once a week (ie: some beer, and a burger or something such as that). I am also doing the tread mill, and the bow flex. Both work well and I can certainly see the difference in all areas. It is worth it in the long run. Good luck to all

Mike in Roseville.

YOU GUYS ARE SOME FAT BASTARDS!!!

I weigh a measley 155 soaking wet with a rock in my pocket. No matter how much I eat I just can't gain weight.

Kinda like that japanese eating champ. That guy ate 50 hot dogs AND buns in 12 minutes!!!!!!!

And he weighs like 165! UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!

FIFTY!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm into the weight loss thing too, three days a week I go to the gym, the women wear things there that they wouldn't wear in the bedroom. Losing 15lbs hasn't been all that bad, the wife can't beleive how devoted I am.

LewiChris, congrats....that dieting is a feat worthy of praise! 27lbs is huge! Keep up the good battle, unfortunately some of us do not have the metabolism to eat & eat w/o the weight gain, unless you follow each meal with ExLax......not!

Yea Mike in Rossville, it feels damn good wearing those 32 waist size Levi's from days long gone past......down from a 36 to 38.......

Guys, This is a really neat thread....

I have a "George Foreman" grill. I think it's just about the best thing going for eating right. I think by going to Costco or Sams club and getting some yard-bird is a good deal, just throw it on the grill and your good to go. At one point I lost over 30 pounds on Darin's (milkman's) diet. The way that he's eating is great. It would be even better if he were to eat the big meal at lunch, but I would never do it either, you need something to look forward to at the end of the day. Also, I pound water all day. I have to force myself to drink and drink alot of water.

Lifting weights in my opinion is the fastest way to burn fat and will also make it so you can hang on to the bike for longer periods of time.

Keep up the great work guys....

You're right about the little ones hangin on to ol' blue. It's like riding a greased pig on roids.

And the Georgie Foreman grill---that thing sucks for us skinny fellers. I can't get any fat when I use that thing. It drains off EVERYTHING, including taste, vitamins, and tenderness. My chops and steaks turn out horrible-too dry. Maybe it's because I can't cook in the first place ? .
