I can take a picture tomorrow and post it. It bolts threw the chain roller bracket and simply just fits . It kind of looks like the one on my ktm but more sturdier.
I actually drove to chuck stealhys house to pick up the flywheel weight and he had a kx100 in his garage which had the kick stand on it , when i seen it i bought it , nice looking product and designed by him.
You could also look at kawasaki.com ,go to parts finder and go older on the kx100
i think like a 96 or 98 and they show a kick stand , you can buy every part, might want to check that out also.

Yep, that's what I have on my 95.  It was available from 95-97.  They removed the mounting tab from the frame in 98.  If you have access to a welder it would be easy to add it to a newer bike.

As always great information on this site. I looked again on steahly must have missed it the first time.  I cant wait to get started I will be picking up the bike today.  I already ordered the bark busters, skid plate, and exhaust. Next will be the flywheel weight.

I am still debating on the steahly kick stand. I am a welder and I have the scrap around to build the kick stand, but I will have probably 8 hours in it when it is all said and done and it may take more to get the stand working just right. If the steahly one is up to par, I will just buy it. Can anyone send me a picture of it or post one?

Update: I haven't gotten any parts in. I cleaned the filter and changed the oil last night so we could go ridding tomorrow. I will let you guys know when I get some parts on it! I will take some pics too.

I was in the exact same situation, and I said screw it and bought the Steahly. I don't regret it. It bolts on easily and works well. I have noticed that I need to keep an eye on the bolt, as it keeps loosening a little. I need to take a few minutes to pull the nut off and Loc-tite it. I have also noticed that when my son falls on the left, it will bend in slightly, and allow it to rub the swingarm when it gets towards the top of its travel. Just give it a little pull and it is right back where it needs to be. Oh yeah, the Works frame guards needed to be massaged a little to get the right fit, but it turned out great. Sorry, but I don't have any pics.

I hope to get my kickstand soon and will post pics.  I placed the order Wednesday from Steahly.  The flywheel weight will be next.

Ive got an 06 modified KX100 playbike, set up for a bigger guy (me). Ive removed the stock peg mounts lowering them 2 inches, rewelded all new stronger than stock brackets. Installed taller and further ahead TAG Metals top triple clamp with renthal full size bars and its the funnest thing I ride! This bike will eat most big bikes lunch. I still cant believe how fast this little six speed is. Sorry, pics are a little blurry.

It is a 6 speed? I guess I didn't realize that. Cool pics. I like the Mods you did. I bet that thing rips.

The wife did good on the KX yesterday. The loose hills gave her the most problems. FWW should help with that. She did loop it and kill the new clutch lever I put on the day before the ride!

I got the KLX headlight mounted. Not wired yet. It looks sweet!

Hint.....Hand Guards! Or alot of spare levers. ps.. you got alot of toys big fast! Cooool.

The Acerbis are on thier way. No more broken levers after they get here I hope...

I ordered a new kick stand for a 1997 kx100 today. I will have to fab the rest, but it should help. I guess I am not going with the steahly one.

Got some parts in today. Mounted up the skid plate and the radiator brace.

I also ordered the tab that the kick stand mounts on. I may weld it directly to the frame or make some tabs and weld them to the frame, then bolt on the mount.

Got the tank, flywheel weight and the lighting coil on today. Got the headlight wired too. I need to get a 12v voltage regulator and a tail light. I like the Steahly LED tail light/ liscence plate. I think I will go with that. I also want to get a switch so she can turn off the lights and make the bulkbs last longer. My wr250 didn't have a switch and it was annoying.

How much of a difference does that FWW make? How did it ride before and after it?

The FWW  made a huge diffrence, it made the toggle switch attitude a lot more forgiving. I wouldnt say it hurt the power in any way ,now it just puts the power down to the ground and lugs down way more in the tight trails.  I do have to say ,if he was just starting out i would have got the 12oz .

I finally got the  kickstand installed.  I ended up getting one from Steahly Offroad allong with one for my 250f. Its nice quality and was a quick install.

Made some progress on the wifes.

Got the Graphics/ seat cover on. Ordered Steahly's "standard size" LED tail light and liscense plate holder along with a 12v regulator. Also bought a WR450 headlight switch off of ebay.

Got the kickstand tab fabbed and welded on. I am still waiting on the kick stand bolt to come in. The bolt that connects the stand to the mouting bracket has a shoulder on it so I decided to order it.

Also, painted the frame where the welds heated it up and also the new tab I added. Anybody know where to get some kawasaki matching paint? Closest I could find anywhere (including the craft/ hobby stores) is painfully obviously not the right color. Sticks out like a sore thumb!

I will take some pics when I get the rest on it. I keep thinking of taking pics, but it needs the tail light, handlebars, handguards and the kickstand still, so I think I'll wait.

Sounds like you are getting a lot done cant wait to see the pics.
Not sure on the paint do you have any friends that work at a body shop?
I was thinking someone could mix to match the frame.
