push button ignition

can you still have indicator and hi beam warning light when you replace key with the push button setup that comes with the wr450f 2006. the push button works ok but i cant seem to get high beam or indicators help needed please

Hiya, I had to change over to the push button as the keyed ignition failed on mine but I had to lose the indicator/high beam lights etc but found this the other day which was nifty as my speedo also failed recently so I need a new one also & am going to replace with a Vapour.

the key ignition is an easy fix take it apart and clean the copper contacts they will be all green these switches easily let in water or moisture its very easy it unclips in half

Thanks for the tip. I couldn't be bothered spending the big bucks on a new ignition as I really only ride it off road but I will get to work on it now I know.
