this may be stupid and obvious for some of you, but how much oil does my YZ426 hold? I can't find it anywhere and i don't have a manual for it. Thanks for your help.

Welcome to Thumper Talk. My 2000 426F takes 1.6 quarts with a filter change/cleaning (scotts stainless) and 1.5 if not changing the filter. You can search this site for links to online manuals.

Yes it is LITERS. My bad. :bonk: I blame the public education system and my complete failure to apply my self to the learning of the metric system. I have actually learned more metric things since owning motorcycles than I did in school. Just another pro for dirt bikes! :naughty:
