Ok this is how i just bought the xrl. have many parts on order. Mostlt CR red. i am getting rid of the purple and the white as well i was thinking about going red and black. any thoughts guys.

Yup leave er stock - just unplug it, worth more in the future that way. Or at least store the OEM parts away for resale later IF you ever do.

had to touch a few spots with a brush i taped off every nut bolt and wire. covered the engine. sanded everything including putting high heat paint on the pipes. so far so good
