Have any of your guys got any great pictures of the mid-late 90s XR628 factory racers with the trick dual rear exhausts?

Anyone have any lying around in their shed they want to sell?

I am super keen to get a set.

Those trick dual exhausts were specially made units from Japan I believe and they only used them in SCORE and NV races where they did a lot of high speed stuff and didn't need to have a spark arrestor. I used to race D-37, BITD and National H/H on a 628 back in the nineties and was (am) good friends with Johnny Campbell and remember seeing those. The werre terrible for low end torque but could run like crazy on top. Doubt you'd find them anywhere.

The next time anybody says that a 650 is better than a 600, just post these pictures and put them to shame. That is the coolest mod I've seen on an XR yet. That makes me want to get a tubing bender and a few hundred feet of tubing so I can figure out how to make those for mine. Sweet.

If done properly dual exhaust should give you more flow and a quieter system.
