XR650 vs XR400 rims

I cracked my rim on my XR400 and need to replace it. Is the XR650 rim (not hub) the same as a XR400. Called the dealer and they didn't know because they are different part numbers. They are both 2.15 X 18. Could they have a different # of spokes?

I'm asking because I want to get a gold Pro Wheels one (to match the front rim) from Rocky Mountain ATV for a good price. They don't have one listed for a Xr400 but they do have one for a XR650. The lady on the phone didn't know either.

I would appreciate input from anyone with experience in this matter.

I posted this in the XR400 forum also.
