I am looking into a big gun rev box for my 07 yz450 and I was wondering if it will shorten the life of the motor also. Do you need thier exhaust to use this part. Are thier any other brands that work better? Thanks

On a 450, why not just short shift the bike, and avoid those screaming high RPM'S? On a 250f, I can see the need for wanting to ring them out, but on a 450f, just short shift and let the bike pull, it's got the torque.

I think I will just leave it alone for now. Thanks
