No, not really. There was a lengthy discussion of this a while ago. The original KYB fluid is approximately 3-4wt, but without actually doing a pour test on it, no one knows what it is, since it isn't on the label anywhere. Suspension pros are using everything from 2.5 wt Motorex to 5 wt fluids in these forks. I used Maxima Light Shock Fluid (3 wt) in the 4 sets I've sealed so far, and everyone seems to like it.
