05 450 Will Not START !!!!!

My 450 will not start !!!!! I did put a piston and rings in it but I am 100% sure I have the cams timed correctly and I have had others read the manual and have also agreed they are timed corectly. I cannot get it to even pop or anything !!! It has spark, the plug is wet ? I just don't get it:banghead: Just looking for a little direction as I am stuck which way to turn.

i just put a new piston and rings in my 250f and it started right up, but even if your timing is off it will still start up, you also said your plug is wet ( how wet) it could just be fouling its self out.

I have drained the Carb empty and kicked it 50 times with the exhaust off and the plug out. Then drip a little gas into the cylinder put a warm new spark plug and nothing not even a pop

did it run and start fine before you put the piston in?

Yep but hasn't started since October or so

Start by dumping the old gas and using some new fresh stuff, if you haven't done so already.

I put new fresh gas in..... I was thinking about pull starting it actually or pop starting it?

How's the compression?

I didn't actually check but the piston and rings are brand new, can you check the compression with the decompression in the cam? I suppose if you kick it fast enough?
