I have a 2002 wr 426f and It makes an interesting noise.

I want to call it a really low binding/grumble when the engine is turned over by my hand, should i be worried?

Oil pump or water pump is what im thinkin, but i dont know sh&^%.

Anyone have a similar noise, or guesses on what it could be ?

Ps it just got all the gears replaced

Can you hear it when it's running? Start it up or have someonce kick it over while you put a piece of rubber hose (around 3/8) to your ear and put the other end near the water pump / oil pump etc and see if you can narrow down where the sound is comming from.

Maybe it's just grumbling because you aren't out ridding!
