A ton of great looking bikes on here. I really like your spoke covers and never seen those before. I had to order black for mine. How much of a pain was it to install and how are they holding up? Mine should be here this week. Well here is my bike it was a left over 09 I picked up new. I have 2.7hrs on her!! Sad since I got her last Sept.. I should stop putting $$ into it and ride. I think I need some graphics as she looks a bit blah after seeing all your great graphics.

Hi EAS1...

The black is going to look good on your bike for sure. As far as installation is concerned on the spoke wraps, it's the trimming that gets tedious. They mention in the instructions that each wrap is at a generic length and needs to be trimmed to size. My only suggestion for ease of installation is to put a little lube on the wrap when you get to the point were they cross and make contact. They want to twist against each other when they are dry believe it or not. As far as graphics go, MPO is to check out the offerings from One Industries. When I got mine from an EBay store I was on the fence as to wether or not I should spend a couple extra $$$ and get the set I ended up with or go cheap since they usually get beat up on the trail. But I couldn't believe the difference between the One Industries set and the set I got for my brother. I would almost consider mine a protective coating since they were so thick. Very happy with them. My set for everything was $90. I tell ya what, there's something to be said for less is more. Your '09 looks really nice in my opinion but thats just me. The other deciding factor when I chose my set was the fact that it didn't look like a pile of sponsor stickers. Sometimes the sets are overwhelmed with crap from manufacturers that you don't even have parts from.

As far as durability goes on the wraps, I'll let you know after the weekend. Heading up to ride a couple of 35-40 mile loops tomorrow... :ride:

Rick

I can't see what wraps you got, but I put a set on my drz-sm. I loosened up each spoke and put them on. Made sure my spokes were good and tight so I killed two birds by doing that.

rdrampage - Thanks for the info.. Came in yesterday and I am going to attack them tonight. I also picked up a pair for my 690SMC so those should look nice also. Let me know how they hold up and have a great time on the trail ride.

This is my 2001 YZ250F. I'm pretty proud of it. It's been very well taken care of and is extremely clean for an '01. There's still a few more things I'd like to do to it but it's worthy of showing to everyone. Check it out:

If you don't mind saying, what sort of price OTD did you give for the 2009?  A dealer in my state has a leftover '09 and is asking $5649, which is WAY overpriced. I am thinking that at maybe mid-4k range I might be interested.

$4795 + state tax. Don't let them pull the Doc./freight & setup bull on you. My dealer does not charge for that so I imagine the rest don't have to.
