Newbie to TT so if the pics are jacked up sorry...

Bought this '07 in boxes this spring and this is the 3/4 point of a tailor made trail bike. Really tweaked the internals of the motor and added a couple teeth on the rear so she'll tractor a little more and really climb out ofthe low to mid range... I know it's not a WR but I love this bikes light weight in comparison to the WR's.

Anyhow, I was blown away by all the sweet rides posted to this topic and I know I've got a ways to go to catch up to you all but here's where she stands at this point.

GYTR skid plate and full wraps with deflectors due in today so back to the hot box garage (in MI it's hotter than haites)...

Thanks FR! I've received a lot of thumbs up on the spokes... I think they do give the blue a little more punch on the bottom. Now that I'm at this point with the bike I'm glad the white plastic grew on me. I was ready to trade it in for std Yami blue but now I'm glad I didn't... Tnx agn.. :)

I bought this 2008 WR250F about 4 months ago in bone-stock condition with only 4 miles on it.  Besides all the free-mods, I have re-jetted and added a 2008 YZ250F pipe.  I also installed barkbusters, Hyde racing skid and headlight protector, Devol f/r disk guards and radiator guards, Yamaha fender bag and Moose racing seat strap.  My goal was to maintain the stock appearance, while increasing the performance and so far I am very happy with the outcome.

Absolutely awesome looking, what did you use to color the spokes? I agree with the white plastics I wasn't overly excited about them when I bought my bike but now I can't imagine anything else looking as nice.

I purchased spoke wraps from Bykas. Thay make a variety of different colors for all different bikes. You can find them either through Google or EBay, just search "spoke wraps". If you do your search through EBay they have some great example pic's. I got something on my spokes and they looked horrible and now with the covers it's really given the bike a more custom look.

Thanks for the kind words about my scooter! if you have any trouble finding Bykas let me know and I'll shoot you a link. I also have a reference pic of a guy who used red on a Yami and believe it or not it looks sharp...
