Replace gasket?

After replacing my rings and reassembling my top end I was disappointed to find that the engine would not turn over freely. What it ended up being was the cam chain damper was not installed properly...actually came out of it's slot while reassembling.
So my question is should I replace the 30 plus dollar head gasket? The engine has never been started but the head gasket has been torqued down once!

Once is enough. Interesting question, but if it were me I would definitely get a new gasket.
