If i was to send out my shock and forks for work, (i could do the fork my self realy) who would you reccomend? And would anyone reccomend me putting in the gold vavles? I just want an opinion on what the best suspension modification for a yz250f would be for the money.

i have factory connection springs in mine and there done up by get real racing, you could put the rear spring in yourself, i just did mine, then send them out to companys, theres a guy on ebay that dose reall good work, i have an 05 250f

i could do the spring i know but thats not what i need, i have the right spring rates, but to keep them up to par with the newer bikes i wanted to get either gold valves or have possibly factory connection overhaul them, the gold valves would be cheaper i believe but im not sure what one in the end would perform better i havent had suspension done up before.

Spring it for your weight and leave the rest alone. The Stock Valving shouldnt be a problem, and since you dont know what your trying to achieve, how will you know when you get it?
I resprung my bike with Race Tech springs and it works wonderfully once properly set up. Unless your a real big guy, or your gettin super big air, the stock valving can be set up to perform fine.

If you're looking for a revalve I've used REP in W. Springfield with good results. I sent my KTM stuff to Factory Connection but expect to pay more $$$.

DIX, sorry for not specifying, but i rode the 07 crf250r and kx250f and the forks action was so much smoother but still held up the bike as stiff as mine would, it felt so much smoother. thats basicly what im trying to get out of them... or am i beating a dead horse?

Take everything off and send it to Factory Connection in my opinon. They really do great work and they stand behind their work which is vastly important. They will do re-works and give tech support on getting everything dialed in correctly.

It just depends how serious you are and how much money you can spend. Factory Connection comes with a guarantee...figure it that way. What is that worth. We are talking maybe $150 difference if you do both front and rear. Bubba Joe's Slimy Suspensions, Inc. or the company the factory teams use. I personally use Bubba Joe but he just happens to be good to me. So if you don't know .....then go with the pro's. Or I can give you my bubbas #. :)
