I have been buying new yzf's since 2004 and just sold my 06 in november, now im missing riding so im out ot get a new bike, i have always liked the yami's but i need some influence on spending the extra money to buy a new version of the bike i just sold.
Is there much difference between 06 and 07 yz250f's, and if you guys didnt have a yzf would you have a kxf or crf??

get the 07...its is much more refined and no matter what people on here tell you the 07 is wayyyyy better than the 06 :thumbsup:

The '07 is a step ahead of the '06. The suspension alone would make it worth it. I'm 165lb w/gear and ride a quick B pace and my '07 YZF stuff stock is almost equal to my factory connection revalved '06 YZ suspension. The handling is great and the wave rotors aren't just a gimmick.

If I didn't already have a Yamaha card, and didn't get a great deal on the YZF, I may have gotten the kxf. (I didn't know how good the YZF suspension was before I bought)
I like the beefier midrange power of the kxf, for offroad. A FMF megabomb helped the yzf, and hotcams and/or a 290 kit may be in my future.
It's really "pick-a-color"(except red), unless you've got factory backing- but then it doesn't matter anyway because you're not riding a regular production bike.
