Hi All,

Is there any internal suspension differences (other than spring stiffness and valving) between the 07 YZ/WR? I read somewhere (I can't remember where) that the suspension on the YZ was better quality. What I am trying to find out is if there is a quality difference between the two bikes. Any help is appreciated.

Apples and oranges. In addition to the stiffer springs and valving, the YZs have the twin chamber forks. The 07 WRs got the YZ forks from two years ago. Yamaha screwed us on this one. Maybe next year....:censored:

What kind of a difference do twin chamber forks make? And if I get the suspension redone for my weight will I notice much difference anyway?

Thanks

I check into the YZ side of the house every so often, and the opinion of the moderator there (greyracer) is that the best suspension shop tuned non-twin chamber forks don't compare to the stock 06 twin chambers he has on his 06 YZ. I respect the opinion of that man - he generally cuts right thru the BS.

I absolutely love my 06 forks on my WR. It's hard to imagine them being any better than they are for what I like to do on the bike.
