you guys that dont give a rat's a$$ about noise and being loud are not part of the solution and one of the main reasons tracks are getting shut down all over. use your brains and get an exhaust that is 98dbs tested or below. i will put money on it that there are few people out there that can push these bikes to their full potential to where the very little restriction stock exhausts have really make that big of a difference. if you can push one of these bikes and really are that fast then why aren't you running with vilopoto and the other lites pro riders??? dont kid yourselves, even ama is getting serious about sound. their going to be jumping down to 96dbs here soon just because it is way too loud out there. id rather ride quiet than not ride at all. my .02 cents....
I dont understand why you, and others are so upset. If someone runs a loud exhaust in a restricted db area, they are eventually going to get a ticket. Right? If the law isnt enforced, people will tend to see how far they can push it, and I dont blame them....
Not everyone is aware of the impact a loud exhaust can have on our riding areas. Its up to enforcement teams educate people on the laws, and help our protect our riding areas. They write tickets, and fine riders, using that money to fund the development of laws and proceedures that protect our right to ride, and appease those that complain about noise and polution and such. Essentially, they help maintain the balance.
While I respect the fact that you are trying to educate people on the laws, and consequences, you lack the ability to mention it in a polite and respectful manor. Therefore, leave it to the law enforcement teams, they need the money.
