Electric start on a CR125

Is it possible to fit an electric start on a CR125 ?

I dont believe so. And why would you want one anyway? I mean really, i can practically start a 125 with my hand lol

how very true, lol

although i would like to see this, because i dont think i have ever seen an electric starter
on a two stroke, so this would be a sight to see

I was looking for a electric start for my CR125 engined shifter kart because bump starting can be a PITA when im Karting on my own :censored:

Ok, that makes sense. I dont think i can help you on that one though. I dont know much about shifter karts, but isnt there a way to leave the kickstart on it?

you might be able to rig up a pull starter.

get the pull starter and the piece on the flywheel from an old quad and somehow rig it up on the flywheel of you engine. then if you stall, you just reach back and give it a yank.

then you wouldn't need a battery or anything.

you should do that if your good at fabrication, or know someone that would do it for you.


(edit) OR you could put the kicker back on and just put the cart in neutral, hop off and stomp it.

why would you take off the kick start in the first place???
